Are you using nylon or hemp rope to be tied up with?
Why did anyone think this wasn’t going to happen? Are the people at EA really that clueless? Wait, don’t answer that one.
But seriously, are any of us truly surprised this happened? It’s the reason every other game out there limits the degree of customization (except maybe for Second Life).
I called this happening the very second I heard about the concept of the game. I wasn’t disappointed.
Which is fine, because there’s a certain amount of comedic greatness about it.
I find the comment that it is distribution of pornography to children disturbing. This is built on the assumption that game == children.
This kind of negative press couldn’t happen to a better company. Good going EA. Sadly, I realize this will only increase their sales because irresponsible parents will have no clue about the game they’re buying, just like GTA.
Like any other game, it should have a content filter, but then it falls upon the creature creators to responsibly label their creatures “adult.” A person taking responsibility for something they did? It’ll never happen.

Use nylon. Hemp rope can give you some VERY nasty splinters.
and yeah it’s not really suprising, but I’m glad that EA is at least giving the players themselves the option to be influenced by outside content.
any sort of dynamic growth in games that can directly effect your experience is rare these days, and it’ll be interesting to see how this affects the gaming community.

I would be disappointed in myself as an internet person if had created anything other than a giant walking phallus (THE BALLS WERE HIS FEET, IT WAS SO EPIC) as my first Spore creature.
